Christian Tutschku

Dr. Christian Tutschku studied physics at the University of Würzburg in Germany. After completing his Bachelor of Science in 2015 and his Master of Science in 2016, he continued his academic journey and obtained his PhD in Physics from the same university in 2021.

His research interests lie in the field of Theoretical Solid State Physics and Quantum Computing. Following his doctoral studies, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute in Stuttgart, specializing in the future-oriented topic of Quantum Computing. Since January, 2021, he has been leading the Quantum Computing Team at the Fraunhofer IAO, actively contributing to projects such as SEQUOIA, which explores the foundations for targeted quantum computer applications in industry.
